課程概述

Course Description:
Ethics, as well as value and belief, is the foundation of a successful business from the day when the business is established. Ethics especially today is also recognized as the essential core competence which leads to a great career life from day one of one's work. Ethics stands the test of good times and bad times to ultimately sustains great personal achievement and success. The purpose for this course is “to inspire and to empower” students to make the right choice in their life and in business career and eventually to make a difference in the society. The course will introduce the concept of ethics in life and business, sound ethical principles, quality decision process and learn how to draw a clear line between right and wrong, and to transform personal life and work. Through the study of interesting and realistic business cases, students will gain clear perspective, understanding and insights incorporating ethical practices in personal life and career. 

課程目標
Course Objectives:
Through dedicated instruction and presentation, lively illustration of different pertinent business cases and interactive discussions in class, students will learn clear methodology for business ethics practice. Students will also be organized in case study groups for case presentation and engage in orchestrated group debates to acquire practical knowledge on business ethics. Students will also benefit from the speaker’s own executive experience and learn to define the very fine line in the difficult tug-of-war of business decisions in the real world. Again, the ultimate purpose for this course is “to inspire and to empower” students to make the right choice in their life and in their career and eventually to make a difference in the society. That is more significant than just “A” grade!
